Posted 24 March – The irons combine a carpenter steel face, providing a higher ball speed and shifting weight to the perimeter of the club, with a carbon steel body that provides a level of feel and feedback that the elite golfer demands. That’s the Diablo range in a nutshell but the fairway woods perform very well with the three wood offering consistent performance and filling in well off the tee when required. With impressive forgiveness on mishits this is a 3 Wood that should be taken very seriously. Feels great, plays great, looks odd.

Callaway Big Bertha Diablo – Previous Model Year Reviews – GolfWRX
The non-draw version is much easier to look at at address. Several functions may not work.
Feels great, plays great, looks odd. Hate all their woods.
Wanna get rid of this ugly yellow box? I can’t wait to see the TH version of it.
I bought this new in and it still hits great 8 years later. The fairway woods also include VFT or Variable Face Thickness Technology which allows for berthz levels of thickness across the clubface to ensure much higher ball speeds from a larger area of the face. I found the Big Bertha Diablo irons a tad strange because, unlike the woods in the range, they seemed to be aimed purely at the callawqy player.

The ones with the shiny top and the black ridged interior that put patterns on your bread Posted 23 March – Callaway did a great job with this, and with the new price, you just can’t beat it. Don’t be tempted to have the latest models just for callawwy – if they’re not broken don’t replace them.
If you like the look of the driver, and some won’t, then it could be a real winner for you. This driver is made for the person who is going to swing as hard as they can to pound it. Obviously I am used to my own driver bbig the monitor should never be the final judge, but based on the results of the testing I don’t think I’ll be bringing the Diablo out to the course anytime soon.
Designers have redesigned the clubhead to help golfers square the clubface at impact and hit it straight!
Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Drivers user reviews : out of 5 – 7 reviews –
Appearing slightly closed at address and with a clubhead that extends a bit too far back for my taste it has an awkward feel bertga the ball but from that moment on all it does is deliver. And if you like all your gear matching, you’ll be pleased to hear there is also a fairway wood, a hybrid, irons and balls in the Diablo range!
It seems to go long and straight however you hit it and with a great ball flight Wind drag has to be slowing swing speed down. But it was only when we hit it that we realised how much fun this club was.

They get my vote! We’re talking about yards more and straight down the middle with the iq. If it works for others, more power to ya- just looking down at address at some of these bizarre offerings.
Callaway is obviously confused. Posted 25 March – diablk The cavity back design really helps to reduce the vibrations. I feel like it is impossible to miss hit this!
Write a Review Rate This Product: A really solid feeling at impact and a consistent, penetrating ball flight that resulted in great distance is always a winning combintaion! I’ve not had the opportunity to actually hit one yet, and as a result have yet to register in this pole.
